Further TV History

After the Worlds Fair in 1900 television can to a cross roads, between Mechanical TV and Electronic TV. Historian Mery Bellis states that "Mechanical TV is based on Nipkow's rotating disk and Electronic TV is based on the cathode ray tube work made in 1907 by English inventor A.A. Campbell-Swinton and Russian scientist Boris Rosing." The two models were then taken up by C. Jenkins and J. Baird ,who worked on the mechanical while P. Farnsworth and e.V. Zworkin ,who worked with the electronical.
